Project Plan Design/Philosophy
- Complete "soup-to-nuts" plan required. So you will start with defining the objectives
- Every phase should be reviewed, revised if necessary - and approvals sought
- You have decided upon "Waterfall" based development/implementation methodology
- It has pre-decided to go with Open Source tech stack (Moodle LMS has been finalized)
- Quality (Testing functions), non-functional requirements, documentation - are of great importance
- Engage Vendors wherever possible - both digital and otherwise - to minimize inhouse effort
- Launch iteratively to maximize "learnings"
- Migrate digital content that is available in SCORM format
- Handover to maintenance team should be done at the end
