- Process Instances
- Process instances are assigned to operations in the Recipe Editor.
- Process Instances represent the members of the associated process class that are referenced in the recipe procedure.
- If more than one unit is required simultaneously from the selected process class, multiple instance names must be defined.

- Name
- Unit Selection Mode
- Unit Assignment
- Instance Attributes
- Transfer Instances
- Transfer Instances represent the members of the associated transfer class that are referenced in the recipe procedure.
- If multiple process instances are defined, then multiple transfer instances must be defined so that the recipe builder can differentiate the transfer phases into and out of each process instance.
- As a general rule, whenever more than one connection from within the same transfer class must be allocated at the same time, multiple transfer instances are required.

- Source Instance Assignment
- Destination Instance Assignment
