Topic 2.3.1: Architecture
- InBatch Server is the heart of the batch system. Proper system architecture planning and design is required to ensure the stability of the system and optimize performance.
- The InBatch system consists of server databases. They can be grouped into three different sets:
- Configuration databases
- Runtime databases
- Environment database
- InBatch editors access the configuration databases to update model, tag, material, and recipe, and report information.
- InBatch services access the runtime databases to access the information stored within to direct and run the batching and reporting systems.
- Typical System Configurations
- Standalone with System Platform.
- Standalone without System Platform.
