      • SCENARIO and OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT PLAN:


        • A renowned US "sports/casual" apparel brand intends to launch their products in new Asian markets. 
        • You are the "Marketing Director - Apparel, International". 
        • You have been tasked by the Board of Directors and the CEO to launch a Product Marketing Campaign Launch - that will take your company's products into Asian markets. 
        • This is very important project for your company as it will establish future growth for decasdes to come.

        Project Plan Design

        • Complete "soup-to-nuts" plan required. So you will start with defining the Business Strategy
        • Localization has to be planned for each Asian country targeted
        • Vendor to be engaged for marketing material - both digital and otherwise
        • Manufacturing has to be in loop early - to support your launch
        • Campaign effectiveness to be reported back to the Board

        ASSIGNMENTS FOR YOU:

        1. Basics: Set project date (HINT: Keep a back date so you can track also)
        2. Over-allocations: Use several techniques that have been taught to resolve overallocations. Decide if you want to retain any consciously. (Hint: See lesson for tips)
        3. Project Tracking: Complete project tracking to 100%
        4. Analyze Critical Path in Project
        5. Experiment with different reports on the project
        6. Experiment with different resource costing - and its various impact to the project
